* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,699.00 up by 392.92 points or 0.75% after trading in a range of 52,830.68 and 52,385.05. There were 20 stocks advancing and 10 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in red; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.51%, and Small cap index was down by 0.22%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Capital Goods was up by 0.54%, and FMCG was up by 0.25%, while, Telecom was down by 0.80%, Oil & Gas was down by 1.75%, Utilities was down by 1.10%, Energy was down by 2.15%, and Realty was down by 0.79%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Infosys was up by 3.75%, TCS was up by 3.42%, Tech Mahindra was up by 2.19%, HCL Tech was up by 1.85%, and Asian Paint was up by 1.82%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Reliance was down by 2.35%, ONGC was down by 1.13%, Bharti Airtel was down by 0.79%, SBIN was down by 0.43% and Power Grid was down by 0.43%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,790.45 up by 103.50 points or 0.66% after trading in a range of 15,821.40 and 15,702.70. There were 30 stocks advancing and 19 stocks declining and 1 stock unchanged.
