* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,386.19 down by 182.75 points or 0.35% after trading in a range of 52,555.73 and 52,228.01. There were 10 stocks advancing and 20 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.61%, and Small cap index was up by 0.39%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Utilities was up by 0.38%, Telecom was up by 1.71%, Realty was up by 2.38%, and FMCG was up by 0.06%, while, Oil & Gas was down by 0.49%, Energy was down by 0.71%, and Capital Goods was down by 0.31%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were TATA Steel was up by 4.16%, Bajaj Finserv was up by 3.55%, Bharti Airtel was up by 2.05%, NTPC was up by 0.38%, and Maruti was up by 0.33%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Bajaj Auto was down by 1.99%, TCS was down by 1.52%, HDFC Bank was down by 1.08%, AXIS Bank was down by 0.98% and Reliance was down by 0.94%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,689.80 down by 38.10 points or 0.24% after trading in a range of 15,730.85 and 15,632.75. There were 24 stocks advancing and 26 stocks declining.
