* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,154.13 up by 609.83 points or 1.18% after trading in a range of 52,235.97 and 51,907.75. There were 19 stocks advancing and 11 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green and red; the BSE Mid cap index up by 1.40%, and Small cap index was up by 0.37%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Realty was up by 1.46%, Telecom was down by 0.88%,Utilities was up by 0.24%, Auto was up by 0.44% and Capital Goods was up by 0.69%. while, Energy was down by 0.25%, Oil & Gas was down by 0.33%, FMCG was down by 0.05%, , top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Axis Bank was up by 5.88%, ICICI Bank was up by 4.09%, Bajajfinance was up by 3.66%, SBIN was up by 3.52%, and INDUSIN BANK was up by 2.98%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were DRREDDY was down by 1.77%, TCS was down by 1.60%, TECHM was down by 1.19%, HUL was down by 1.16%, and ASIANPAINT was down by 1.14%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,314.70 up by 151.40 points or 1.00% after trading in a range of 15,340.50 and 15,243.40. There were 28 stocks advancing against 22 stocks declining.
