* The BSE Sensex ended at 51,934.88 down by 2.56 points or 0.00% after trading in a range of 52,228.65 and 51,808.88. There were 14 stocks advancing and 16 stocks declining on the index. 

* The broader indices ended in green and red respectively; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.01%, and Small cap index was down by 0.31%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 0.70%, Oil & Gas was up up by 0.71%, FMCG was up by 0.03%, Capital Goods was up by 0.04%, and Utilities was up by 0.10%, while, Realty was down by 0.52%, and Telecom was down by 0.04%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were ONGC was up by 3.52%, Bajaj Finance was up by 2.93%, SBIN was up by 1.97%, HDFC was up by 1.01%, and Bajaj Auto was up by 0.97%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were TATA Steel was down by 2.25%, ICICI Bank was down by 1.80%, UltraTech Cement was down by 1.63%, Asian Paint was down by 1.51% and AXIS Bank was down by 0.69%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,574.85 down by 7.95 points or 0.05% after trading in a range of 15,660.75 and 15,528.30. There were 19 stocks advancing and 31 stocks declining.
