* The BSE Sensex ended at 49,591.32 down by 154.89 points or 0.31% after trading in a range of 49,906.91 and 49,461.01. There were 13 stocks advancing and 17 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in red and green respectfully; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.08%, and Small cap index was up by 0.69%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, FMCG was up by 0.90%, while, Capital Goods was down by 0.72%, Oil & Gas was down by 0.39%, Utilities was down by 0.35%, Telecom was down by 0.04%, Realty was down by 0.69%, and Energy was down by 0.66%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Sun Pharma was up by 3.69%, Hindustan Unilever was up by 2.51%, Tech Mahindra was up by 2.37%, Dr. Reddy was up by 1.48%, and Titan was up by 1.14%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Bajaj Finance was down by 3.12%, UltraTech Cement was down by 2.16%, TATA Steel was down by 2.01%, NTPC was down by 1.95%, and AXIS Bank was down by 1.94%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 14,834.85 down by 38.95 points or 0.26% after trading in a range of 14,918.45 and 14,785.65. There were 22 stocks advancing and 26 stocks declining and 2 stock unchanged.
