* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 1.35%, and Small cap index was up by 0.41%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, FMCG was up by 2.32%, Telecom was up by 0.81%, Utilities was up by 3.04%, Oil & Gas was up by 1.57%, and Energy was up by 2.77%, while Realty was down by 0.55%, and Capital Goods was down by 0.05%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were NTPC was up by 4.58%, Hindustan Unilever was up by 4.44%, Power Grid was up by 4.18%, TATA Steel was up by 3.98%, and Reliance was up by 3.60%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were L&T was down by 1.20%, Tech Mahindra was down by 0.69%, Bajaj Auto was down by 0.47%, Maruti was down by 0.03%, and Titan was down by 0.01%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 14,744.00 up by 186.15 points or 1.28% after trading in a range of 14,788.25 and 14,350.10. There were 42 stocks advancing and 8 stocks declining.
