The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 700.90 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 635.67 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 10.26 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 65.90 per cent at Rs 14,263.82 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 8,597.90 crore in the corresponding period last year. During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 74.97 per cent to Rs 13,199.43 crore from Rs 7,543.62 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 106.86 per cent at Rs 141.76 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 68.53 crore). Operating Profit surged by 0.96 per cent to Rs 1,064.39 crore as against Rs 1,054.28 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 39.15 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 2.72 per cent y-o-y to Rs 77.85 crore, while Taxation increased by 9.59 per cent at Rs 236.16 crore (Jun'21 Rs 215.50 crore).
