FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 21 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18600.50 crore against gross selling of Rs 14565.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4034.96 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1546.58 crore with gross sales of Rs 644.47 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 902.11 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.98 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 16.63 crore in hybrid segment.
