The state exchequer recording the highest per day revenue through registration is a strong indicator that the segment is driven by consumer confidence more than anything else, since the predictions, based on rising mortgage rates, indicated otherwise. Overall, this milestone in home buying will set the trend for the year for both buyers and developers, and we will see newer projects welcomed with more interest than they have been in a long time. Another trend I forecast is the buying of luxury homes where a homebuyer’s focus on lifestyle amenities and technological advancements will edge out traditional advantages sought, like connectivity for example.”
