Persistent Systems falls despite reporting 46% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Persistent Systems is currently trading at Rs. 4065.05, down by 237.60 points or 5.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 4302.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4305.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4305.00 and Rs. 4047.70 respectively. So far 36983 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4986.85 on 03-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1482.05 on 29-Jan-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4500.00 and Rs. 4047.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 31121.02 crore.

Persistent Systems has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The company has reported a rise of 37.32% in its net profit at Rs 172.89 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 125.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 42.09% at Rs 959.38 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 675.18 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 45.88% in its net profit at Rs 176.40 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 120.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 37.72% at Rs 1522.38 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 1105.41 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
