Pennar Industries Q4 net profit down 65.02% at Rs 11.32 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 11.32 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 32.36 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 65.02 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.16 per cent at Rs 589.22 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 549.86 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 8.43 per cent to Rs 548.19 crore from Rs 505.58 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 13.73 per cent at Rs 7.48 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 8.67 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 7.34 per cent to Rs 41.03 crore as against Rs 44.28 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 13.54 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 13.72 per cent y-o-y to Rs 20.55 crore, while Taxation decreased by 66.39 per cent at Rs 3.62 crore (Mar'21 Rs 10.77 crore).
