Patel Engineering posts Q4 net profit of Rs 33.59 cr
The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 33.59 crore compared to net loss of Rs 17.35 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 66.93 per cent at Rs 1,040.78 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 623.50 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 56.37 per cent to Rs 885.14 crore from Rs 566.06 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 3.81 per cent at Rs 39.93 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 41.51 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 170.96 per cent to Rs 155.64 crore as against Rs 57.44 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 62.32 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 6.61 per cent y-o-y to Rs 99.20 crore, while Taxation increased by 119.01 per cent at Rs 16.62 crore (Mar'21 Rs -87.44 crore).
