PVR gains on hiking movie ticket prices in Telangana

PVR is currently trading at Rs. 1267.75, up by 7.20 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 1260.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1255.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1276.50 and Rs. 1250.85 respectively. So far 28085 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1838.00 on 08-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 961.00 on 19-Apr-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1379.25 and Rs. 1241.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7723.58 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 17.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 63.83% and 19.13% respectively.
PVR has increased movie ticket prices in Telangana in line with the latest directions issued by the state government. Mainstream seats price will be raised Rs 250 plus GST from Rs 150, while the recliner seats will be charged at Rs 300 plus GST against Rs 250 currently. As on date, PVR operates 62 screens across 11 properties in the state of Telangana.
