Yoga is not just asana or pranayama but is a cure to several diseases like COVID19 and other viral infections. It is an immunity booster tool. Nowadays to maintain a healthy lifestyle we should imbibe this practice in our daily routine. Yoga not only improves flexibility but also improves strength, balance and mental health, added, Swami Parmarth Dev.

Programme was observed in two sessions. Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDFWF,  welcomed Swami Parmarth Dev, Chief Central Coordinator, Patanjali, Haridwar, and Ms. Savita Tiwari, Head, Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti, Delhi, Shri Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary General, PHDCCI, FWF members and other participants in the second session.

 Swami Ji inspired all members with his influential words focusing on the importance of yoga. A yoga workout is not just good for the body; it's also good for the mind and emotions. The practice of physical yoga poses includes synchronizing the breath with the body movement

In the first session, Yoga trainers from Patanjali demonstrated  various asanas, Mandukasan, Kapalbharti, Surya namaskar, Savasana, pranayama etc.

  Around 140 participants from Secretariat, members of PHDCCI and PHDFWF benefited from the programme.

The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks from Shri Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary General, and PHDCCI.

 The programme was supported by Social Action Foundation, Ms. Vibha Jain, Association of Manufacturer and Ayurvedic Medicine and ITE Group, Noida.  Approx. 1100 beneficiaries from 18 skill development training centres of PHDFWF  also observed International Yoga Day on this Special Day.
