Omaxe surges on raising Rs 440 crore from Varde Partners
Omaxe is currently trading at Rs. 96.80, up by 4.40 points or 4.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 92.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 91.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 97.25 and Rs. 91.05 respectively. So far 3061 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 109.00 on 11-Feb-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 66.05 on 02-Dec-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 97.25 and Rs. 91.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1690.00 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.61% and 13.25% respectively.
Omaxe has raised Rs 440 crore from Varde Partners, a leading global alternative investment firm. It will deploy the funds for expediting construction and delivery of its projects as well as for expansion.
Omaxe Group is developing integrated townships in New Chandigarh, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Indore and Faridabad. It is also developing a multilevel parking cum commercial project in PPP model with North Delhi Municipal Corporation in Chandni Chowk, Delhi scheduled for delivery in this fiscal. The Group has so far delivered around 127.89 million sq. ft. (till December 2021) in real estate and construction contracting.
