The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 69.36 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 8.24 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 741.75 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 15.98 per cent at Rs 217.06 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 187.15 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 10.09 per cent to Rs 156.40 crore from Rs 142.07 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 319.33 per cent at Rs 31.24 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 7.45 crore). Operating Profit surged by 34.58 per cent to Rs 60.67 crore as against Rs 45.08 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 16.02 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 8.93 per cent y-o-y to Rs 25.89 crore, while Taxation increased by 68.88 per cent at Rs -47.15 crore (Mar'21 Rs -27.92 crore).
