Nifty weekly contract has highest open interest at 16700 for Calls and 16600 for Puts while monthly contracts have highest open interest at 16700 for Calls and 16600 for Puts. Highest new OI addition was seen at 16700 for Calls and 16600 for Puts in weekly and at 16700 for Calls and 16500 for Puts in monthly contracts. FIIs increased their future index long position holdings by 9.6% and their future index short position by 16%. FIIs increased their position in index options by 6.12% in Call longs, 5.44% in Call short, 8.12% in Put longs and 2.95% in Put shorts.
