Nifty opened with an upward gap and remainedin positive terrain throughout the day. Nifty closed at 17790 with a gain of 144 points. On the daily chart Nifty has formed a b e a ris h c a n d l e a n d r e m a i n e d restricted within previous session's High-Low range indicating absence of direction on eitehrside. The chart pattern suggests that if Nifty crosses and sustains above 17890 level it would witness buying which would lead the index towards 17940-18000 levels. Important Supports for the day is around 17760 However if index sustains below 17760 then it may witness profit booking which would take the index towards 17600-17500 levels.
