Both weekly and monthly contract of nifty has highest open interest at 15000 strike for Calls and at 14000 strike for Puts. Weekly contract has highest OI addition at 15000 for Calls and 14200 for Puts while monthly contract has highest OI addition at 14500 strike for both Calls and Puts. FIIs cut their futures long position by 12.9% and increased their future shorts position by 21.97%. In index options, FIIs increased their position by 25.79% in Call longs, 35.57% in Call shorts, 19.67% in Put longs and 25.89% in Put shorts.
