Nifty futures closed at 17854 on a positive note with 2.06% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering.
Nifty Futures closed at a discount of 10 points compared to the previous day discount of 12 points.
BankNifty closed at 37854 on negative note with 8.79% decrease in open interest indicating Long Unwinding.
BankNifty Futures closed at a discount of 7 points compared to the previous day discount of 66 points.
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 315 crores and were Sellers in Index Options to the tune of 375 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 759 crores. Net Sellers in the derivative segment to the tune of 1507 crores.
India VIX index is at 16.92 v/s 16.60. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 10.79 whereas Nifty ATM put option IV is quoting at 14.73.
