HIGHLIGHTS
Nifty futures closed at 17830 on a positive note with 0.55% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering.
Nifty Futures closed at a discount of 8 points compared to the previous day premium of 17 points.
BankNifty closed at 37864 on positive note with 2.54% increase in open interest indicating Long Build Up.
BankNifty Futures closed at a discount of 32 points compared to the previous day premium of 25 points.
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 580 crores and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 1295 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 699 crores. Net Sellers in the derivative segment to the tune of 257 crores.
India VIX index is at 16.40 v/s 16.74. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 14.42 whereas Nifty ATM put option IV is quoting at 13.66.
