HIGHLIGHTS
Nifty futures closed at 16255 on a positive note with 3.79% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a discount of -4 points compared to the previous day premium of 1 points. BankNifty closed at 34308 on positive note with 11.65% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a discount of 1 points compared to the previous day premium of 15 points. FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 1064 crores and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 1228 crores, Buyers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 1991 crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 4187 crores. India VIX index is at 22.61 v/s 24.53. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 24.07 whereas Nifty ATM Put option IV is quoting at 22.51.
