The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 27.60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 5.19 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 431.79 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 9.62 per cent at Rs 575.51 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 525.02 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 3.78 per cent to Rs 499.77 crore from Rs 481.58 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 2.96 per cent at Rs 7.21 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 7.43 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 74.36 per cent to Rs 75.74 crore as against Rs 43.44 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 59.13 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 3.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 10.49 crore, while Taxation increased by 635.24 per cent at Rs 15.44 crore (Mar'20 Rs 2.10 crore).
