Nagarjuna Fertilizer posts Q4 net loss of Rs 145.57 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 145.57 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 219.00 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 94.00 per cent at Rs 778.09 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 401.07 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 65.58 per cent to Rs 837.96 crore from Rs 506.07 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 162.82 per cent at Rs 25.73 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 9.79 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 42.98 per cent to Rs -59.87 crore as against Rs -105.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 70.63 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 10.16 per cent y-o-y to Rs 92.50 crore, while Taxation decreased by 106.41 per cent at Rs -1.25 crore (Mar'21 Rs 19.49 crore).
