NTPC gains on beginning commercial operation of 20 MW capacity of Kawas Solar PV Project
NTPC is currently trading at Rs. 146.75, up by 2.70 points or 1.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 144.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 143.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 147.05 and Rs. 141.75 respectively. So far 109883 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 166.30 on 19-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 107.80 on 31-May-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 161.25 and Rs. 141.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 140698.63 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.67% and 3.23% respectively.
NTPC has begun commercial operation of the first part capacity of 20 MW out of 56 MW Kawas Solar PV Project in Gujarat. With this, the standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has reached 54,616.68 MW. Further, the NTPC group installed and commercial capacity has touched 68,981.68 and 68,321.68 MW, respectively.
