The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 68.47 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 36.01 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 90.14 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 43.71 per cent at Rs 462.74 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 321.99 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 29.63 per cent to Rs 352.20 crore from Rs 271.69 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 52.68 per cent at Rs 1.06 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 2.24 crore). Operating Profit surged by 119.76 per cent to Rs 110.54 crore as against Rs 50.30 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 52.94 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 76.19 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.37 crore, while Taxation increased by 307.46 per cent at Rs 26.77 crore (Mar'21 Rs 6.57 crore).
