NMDC surges on the BSE
NMDC is currently trading at Rs. 151.10, up by 7.95 points or 5.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 143.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 143.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 151.30 and Rs. 142.55 respectively. So far 935758 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 213.15 on 12-May-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 122.05 on 25-Mar-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 151.30 and Rs. 133.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 44237.50 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.79%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.16% and 12.05% respectively.
NMDC has reported 4.31 million tonne (MT) of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 3.97 MT in the month of February 2022. The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 3.25 MT of iron ore and registered sales volume of 2.76 MT, while Karnataka mines produced 1.06 MT of iron ore and sold 1.21 MT of iron ore in February 2022.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
