NHPC rises on getting LoA from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam
NHPC is currently trading at Rs. 44.74, up by 0.40 points or 0.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 44.34 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 44.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 45.00 and Rs. 44.67 respectively. So far 145817 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 47.88 on 27-Apr-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 28.85 on 20-Jun-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 45.05 and Rs. 43.82 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 44539.68 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.95%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.28% and 5.77% respectively.
NHPC has received Letter of Intent (LOI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) for 200 MW capacity Solar Power Project within 600 MW GSECL’s Solar Park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-1). The estimated financial implication for the said Solar Power Project would be around Rs 1,007.60 crore.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
