NDTV trades higher on getting nod for four new channels
New Delhi Television is currently trading at Rs. 223.45, up by 2.45 points or 1.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 221.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 220.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 228.00 and Rs. 220.85 respectively. So far 23229 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 4 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 567.85 on 06-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 167.05 on 29-Mar-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 228.00 and Rs. 215.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1463.50 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.71%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.02% and 30.26% respectively.
New Delhi Television (NDTV) has received permission from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to uplink and downlink four News and Current Affairs Channels namely ‘NDTV Rajasthan’, ‘NDTV Madhya Pradesh / Chhattisgarh’, ‘NDTV Gujarati’ and ‘NDTV Marathi’. The company shall launch the channel namely ‘NDTV Madhya Pradesh / Chhattisgarh’ on August 21, 2023. The launch date for the other channels shall be duly intimated once finalized.
