Mold-Tek Packaging gains on starting commercial operations of new unit in Hyderabad

Mold-Tek Packaging is currently trading at Rs. 913.00, up by 3.70 points or 0.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 909.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 908.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 915.15 and Rs. 892.10 respectively. So far 4065 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1123.05 on 02-Feb-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 648.05 on 12-May-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 966.95 and Rs. 892.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3029.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.56% and 31.43% respectively.

Mold-Tek Packaging has commenced commercial production/ operations at the new unit situated at TSIIC Sultanpur, Sultanpur Village, Hyderabad, Sangareddy District, Telangana, with effect from the March 27, 2023.

Earlier, the company had been awarded/selected as Packing Material Supplier by Grasim Industries - Birla Paints Division, for supply of Packing Material (PAILS) and accordingly, a co-located facility will be set-up by the company at Mahad in Raigad District of Maharashtra to cater to their demands.

Mold-Tek Packaging is the leader in rigid plastic packaging in India. The company is involved in the manufacturing of injection molded containers for lubes, paints, food and other products.
