Maruti Suzuki India rides high on aiming to sell 4-6 lakh CNG units in current fiscal year

Maruti Suzuki India is currently trading at Rs. 7846.65, up by 71.30 points or 0.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 7775.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 7750.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7899.95 and Rs. 7750.80 respectively. So far 12123 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 9022.00 on 10-Feb-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6400.00 on 03-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 7899.95 and Rs. 7493.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 236877.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.89% and 4.74% respectively.

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) is aiming to sell 4-6 lakh CNG units in the current fiscal year depending upon the supply situation of essential components. The company sold about 2.3 lakh CNG units in 2021-22. MSI currently sells nine of its 15 models with CNG powertrain and is looking to drive in more models with such technology in the coming days.
