Vishakhapatnam: Marut drones and AP district agricultural department demonstrated the benefits of Kissan Drone for farming purposes in Spraying. Marut Drones have highlighted the benefits of Kissan drones to farmers and made them aware of saving time in the spraying process. The usage of these robust drones will reduce chemical usage by 35 to 40% and water consumption by 85 to 90%.
The event witnessed the participation of District agricultural officers - Mr. Appala Swamy, JDA (Joint director of agriculture), Mr. Vijay prasad ADA (assistant director of agriculture), Mandal President, K. Mr. Rambabu, Rural youth and Farmers from Maddi village, Padmanabham mandal of Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh. Officials from Marut drones interacted with the farmers and youth on the benefits and expressed interest in the usage of the technology.
Marut drones also demonstrated the strength of their drone at Vizianagaram in the presence of District agricultural officers - Mr. Thirupathi swamy JDA (Joint director of agriculture) and Mr. Maharaja ADA (assistant director of agriculture.
The Educational Program was well received among the rural youth, farmers and the stakeholders which saw more than 100 participants.
