The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 40.56 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 33.75 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 20.18 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 27.92 per cent at Rs 237.66 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 185.79 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 28.42 per cent to Rs 176.22 crore from Rs 137.22 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 6.45 per cent at Rs 27.58 crore versus (Sep'20 Rs 25.91 crore). Operating Profit surged by 26.50 per cent to Rs 61.44 crore as against Rs 48.57 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 1.11 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 67.76 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.62 crore, while Taxation increased by 19.22 per cent at Rs 14.33 crore (Sep'20 Rs 12.02 crore).
