Mahindra Finance jumps on disbursing Rs 2,973 crore in May

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services is currently trading at Rs. 188.70, up by 3.50 points or 1.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 185.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 186.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 189.25 and Rs. 185.40 respectively. So far 116303 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 206.40 on 09-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 127.95 on 07-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 185.95 and Rs. 173.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23234.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.16%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.06% and 13.79% respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services (Mahindra Finance) has disbursed approximately Rs 2,973 crore for month of May 2022, delivering a 272% Year on Year (Y-o-Y) growth. The YTD disbursements stood at approximately Rs 5,686 crore, registered a Y-o-Y growth of 169%.

The collection efficiency (CE) was at 95% for May 2022 in comparison to a subdued CE of 67% for May 2021 which was affected due to Covid related lockdowns. The CE is in line with pre-Covid levels. With momentum in collections witnessed so far, the company expects a lower volatility on Stage 3 assets during Q1 FY23.

The company continued to hold adequate liquidity buffer of approximately Rs 8,775 crore as on May 31, 2022 which covers 3 months funds requirement.
