Madhucon Project posts Q4 net loss of Rs 16.12 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 16.12 crore compared to net profit of Rs 0.79 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 14.44 per cent at Rs 248.92 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 290.93 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 16.64 per cent to Rs 258.03 crore from Rs 309.54 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 56.79 per cent at Rs 8.62 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 19.95 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 51.02 per cent to Rs -9.11 crore as against Rs -18.60 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 42.72 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 82.27 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.36 crore, while Taxation increased by 474.87 per cent at Rs 14.02 crore (Mar'21 Rs -3.74 crore).
