M&M rises as its arm launches new Alfa CNG Passenger, Cargo variants

Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 842.60, up by 9.10 points or 1.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 833.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 838.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 852.00 and Rs. 835.85 respectively. So far 29621 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 978.90 on 17-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 671.00 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 852.00 and Rs. 776.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 103620.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 66.54% and 13.98% respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) subsidiary -- Mahindra Electric Mobility (MEML) has launched new Alfa CNG Passenger and Cargo variants, based on its popular Alfa brand. The new variant is attractively priced at Rs 2.57 lakh for the Alfa Passenger DX BS6 CNG and around Rs 2.58 lakh for the Alfa Load Plus (ex-showroom Lucknow).

Additionally, an Alfa Cargo and Passenger owner can save up to Rs 4 lakh extra in 5 years on fuel expenses when compared to diesel cargo 3-wheelers vehicles. The vehicles will be available across Mahindra dealerships in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.
