Linde India climbs on subscribing 18.29% equity shares in FP Solar Shakti

Linde India is currently trading at Rs. 3816.60, up by 67.85 points or 1.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 3748.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3780.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3845.00 and Rs. 3760.00 respectively. So far 1129 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4192.35 on 11-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2711.00 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3845.00 and Rs. 3663.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32535.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.60% and 14.40% respectively.

Linde India has invested a sum of Rs 4.79 crore in FP Solar Shakti towards subscription of 16,50,465 equity shares (18.29%) of face value of Rs 10 each (allotted at a premium of Rs 19.01 each). The objective of acquisition is to purchase renewable power under captive mechanism, which will result in a lower tariff and consequent cost savings.

Linde India is engaged in manufacturing of industrial gases and undertaking engineering projects.
