Tata Power gains on installing EV chargers across Le Roi Hotels and Resorts

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 219.70, up by 1.10 points or 0.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 218.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 218.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 220.20 and Rs. 218.60 respectively. So far 62728 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 251.00 on 07-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 182.45 on 28-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 225.95 and Rs. 215.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 69850.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.93% and 29.20% respectively.

Tata Power has partnered with the renowned Le Roi Hotels and Resorts to install EV charging stations across their hotels at various locations in the country, in a collaborative effort to promote green mobility and enhance the sustainability of tourist destinations. By installing 16 chargers spread across 8 locations, the company aims to create a sustainable corridor, facilitating clean travel in the country. Out of the 16 chargers installed, there will be a balanced distribution of 8 fast DC (CCS-II) chargers and 8 AC (Type II) chargers, offering a comprehensive range of charging solutions for electric vehicle owners.

Covering multiple locations of Le Roi Hotels and Resorts, from the captivating city of Udaipur in the West to the serene coastal town of Digha in the East, this expansion also includes prominent destinations such as Haridwar, Jammu, Tehri, Raipur, Corbett in the North, and Koti in the South. By strategically connecting these diverse locations with EV chargers, this collaboration aims to create a sustainable corridor that fosters green mobility, allowing eco-conscious travelers to explore the country conveniently while minimizing their carbon footprint and simultaneously contributing to the preservation and integrity of these captivating destinations. This joint effort not only promotes green tourism but also contributes to the ongoing transition towards a greener and cleaner future for all.
