Life Insurance Corporation of India rises on increasing stake in Capri Global Capital
Life Insurance Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 606.00, up by 2.00 points or 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 604.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 609.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 609.25 and Rs. 603.95 respectively. So far 65036 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 920.00 on 17-May-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 588.00 on 21-Oct-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 617.10 and Rs. 591.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 382915.36 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 96.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.09% and 2.42% respectively.
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has increased its stake in Capri Global Capital by 2 per cent over the last few months at an investment of Rs 257.37 crore. Its shareholding in Capri Global has increased from 1,24,00,000 to 1,59,51,171 equity shares, increasing its stake from 7.052 per cent to 9.072 per cent of the paid up capital of the company.
The new shares were acquired between June 10, 2022 to October 28, 2022 at an average cost of Rs 724.74 apiece. Capri Global caters to different segments like MSME, construction, finance, affordable housing and indirect retail lending segments.
