The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 34.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 16.83 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 102.32 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 68.07 per cent at Rs 222.89 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 132.62 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 93.46 per cent to Rs 119.15 crore from Rs 61.59 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 219.35 per cent at Rs 0.99 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.31 crore). Operating Profit surged by 37.85 per cent to Rs 110.53 crore as against Rs 80.18 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 17.98 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 17.31 per cent y-o-y to Rs 64.45 crore, while Taxation increased by 70.88 per cent at Rs 10.15 crore (Mar'21 Rs 5.94 crore).
