Lemon Tree trades higher on the BSE
Lemon Tree Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 96.15, up by 2.30 points or 2.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 93.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 94.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 96.80 and Rs. 93.70 respectively. So far 352215 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 96.65 on 09-Nov-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 42.10 on 29-Nov-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 95.25 and Rs. 87.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7633.29 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 23.61%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.19% and 38.20% respectively.
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed new hotel in Tezpur, Assam. The property is expected to be operational by March 2025 and shall be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary and the management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels. Lying on the northern banks of Brahmaputra, Tezpur is known as the ‘Cultural Capital of Assam’ and is the oldest city in the most populated North-Eastern state. With picturesque landscapes, snow-clad Himalayan ranges all around and beautiful green tea gardens on hill slopes, Tezpur is a favoured destination for travellers.
The city is famous for tourist attractions including places of historical and religious significance besides the ones which are naturally beautiful like Nameri National Park, BuraChapori Wildlife Sanctuary, Bamuni hills, Agnigarh and more. This property will feature 42 well-appointed rooms, complemented by a multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar, a meeting room, a fitness center and banquets along with other public areas.
Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms.
