ACME Solar rises on commissioning additional 155 MW/470 MWh BESS projects in Rajasthan

Acme Solar Holdings is currently trading at Rs. 240.55, up by 2.90 points or 1.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 237.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 246.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 246.85 and Rs. 237.70 respectively. So far 16978 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 324.25 on 15-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 172.90 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 272.00 and Rs. 236.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14509.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 83.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.91% and 5.80% respectively.

ACME Solar Holdings, through its various subsidiaries, has commissioned additional 155 MW / 470.25 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). With this, the company’s total commissioned BESS capacity stands at 297.67 MW / 951.74 MWh, out of total planned BESS capacity of 835 MW / 3,114.64 MWh across these SPVs.

Located in the state of Rajasthan, these BESS are connected with existing operational Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) and will run on merchant basis, generating additional revenue stream through price differential between peak and non-peak demand hours. These BESS projects are designed to enhance grid reliability and optimise power utilisation by charging batteries during non-peak demand periods and discharging during peak demand periods. This capability will play a critical role in balancing energy supply and demand while improving the overall grid stability.
