Indian Hotels Company gains on signing Gateway Hotel and Convention Centre in Bengaluru
The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 589.85, up by 6.80 points or 1.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 583.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 583.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 591.70 and Rs. 578.00 respectively. So far 28676 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 853.30 on 23-Apr-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 565.25 on 02-Apr-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 606.35 and Rs. 565.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 83121.32 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.86% and 16.02% respectively.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed Gateway Hotel and Convention Centre in Kanamangala, Devanahalli, near Bengaluru Airport, Karnataka. This is a greenfield project. The 300-key Gateway Hotel and Convention Centre, Bengaluru Airport in Kanamangala, Devanahalli, Bengaluru features an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a specialty restaurant and a lounge. Guests can access the fully equipped gym and swimming pool to unwind. As a convention centre, the property offers versatile and spacious banquet spaces and meeting rooms, with the largest banquet hall measuring more than 16,000 sq ft., making it ideal for large-scale conferences and social events.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 20 hotels in Bengaluru, including 11 under development.
