The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 12.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 16.28 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 23.22 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 25.65 per cent at Rs 490.75 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 390.56 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 25.52 per cent to Rs 466.88 crore from Rs 371.96 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 76.35 per cent at Rs 4.25 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 2.41 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 28.33 per cent to Rs 23.87 crore as against Rs 18.60 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 2.10 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 10.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 9.77 crore, while Taxation increased by 130.05 per cent at Rs 2.78 crore (Mar'20 Rs -9.25 crore).
