Mahindra arm forms JV with Actis; to invest Rs 2,200 cr in industrial units

Realty firm Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd on Thursday announced a joint venture with Actis to develop industrial and logistics facilities with an initial investment of Rs 2,200 crore.

Actis is a global investment firm.

In a regulatory filing, Mahindra Lifespace informed that the company has executed definitive documents to establish joint ventures with Actis for developing industrial and logistics real estate facilities across India.

Akasa Air performance 'satisfying' in first 60 days; well capitalised: CEO

The country's new scheduled airline Akasa Air is "well capitalised" and will allow carrying of domesticated dogs and cats onboard along with passengers from November, according to its senior executives.

IT company HCL Tech plans to train up to 18,000 technology and consulting professional on Google Cloud to scale up its ability to accelerate digital transformations globally with Google Cloud infrastructure, products and solutions, the company said on Thursday.

HCL Tech has been a strategic partner of Google Cloud and formed the dedicated Google Cloud Ecosystem Unit in 2019 to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption at enterprises.

Titan sees 18% sales growth in September quarter; adds 105 new stores

Tata group firm Titan on Thursday said its overall sales grew 18 per cent year-on-year in the September quarter.

The company, which operates in the segments as Jewellery, Watches & Wearables, and EyeCare has witnessed "healthy double-digit growth across most businesses," according to a quarterly update.

Titan added 105 stores in its retail network in the second quarter of the current fiscal.
