Godrej Properties buys 9-acres of land in Gurugram to build Rs 2.5k cr proj

Godrej Properties has bought an about 9-acre land in Gurugram to develop a housing project with sales potential of Rs 2,500 crore.

In a regulatory filing on Thursday, the company said it has acquired the land through an outright purchase. It did not mention the deal value and the name of the seller.

Supertech offered 9,705 flats without occupancy certificates: NCLAT told

Debt-laden Supertech offered 9,705 flats across 18 residential projects to their owners without obtaining occupancy certificates from the respective development authorities, according to a report prepared by the realty firm's interim resolution professional.

Loan fraud case: Ex-ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochhar, husband Deepak Kochhar and Videocon founder Venugopal Dhoot sent to judicial custody till January 10

A special CBI court here on Thursday sent former ICICI Bank CEO and MD Chanda Kochhar, her husband Deepak Kochhar and Videocon group founder Venugopal Dhoot to 14-day judicial custody in connection with a loan fraud case.

The three were produced before special judge S H Gwalani at the end of their earlier remand on Thursday.The court then sent all the three accused to judicial custody till January 10, 2023.

Nokhra solar project's 50MW capacity to begin commercial operation from December 30: NTPC

NTPC on Thursday said a 50 MW solar power capacity of Nokhra project in Bikaner will begin commercial operation from December 30. Earlier this month, a 100 MW unit of the project started commercial operation, as per a BSE filing.
