Nykaa PAT declines 71% YoY to Rs 8.5 crore in Q3, revenue rises 33%:

Nykaa on February 13 reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 8.5 crore for the quarter ended December 2022 (Q3FY23) as against Rs 29 crore a year ago, declining 71 % on a YoY basis. It grew 63 % sequentially. Revenue from operations came in at Rs 1,463 crore, up 33 % from Rs 1,098 crore in the December 2021 quarter. Revenue stood at Rs 1,231 crore for the September 2022 quarter. Expenses for the quarter increased 36% YoY to Rs 1,455 crore in Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 1,067 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Essar Oil and Gas reports 273% growth in PAT for Q3:

Essar Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Ltd (EOGEPL) on February 13 said the company’s profit after tax (PAT) grew 273 % in the quarter ended December 2022. Revenue was up by 54 %, the firm’s highest ever, it said in a release. Revenue stood at Rs 219 crore in the December 2022 quarter, and earnings before interest, depreciation, tax and amortisation or Ebitda doubled on a year-on-year basis to Rs 171 crore. Profit for the quarter under review, the company said, was at Rs 97 crore, up 273%. Profit for the nine-month period was at Rs 284 crore, against a loss of Rs 11 crore reported for the corresponding period a year ago. The company attributed the improvement in its Ebitda margins to a reduction in operating cost and internal consumption in the nine-month period.

Nissan, Renault to invest Rs 5,300 cr in India to make 6 new models: Nissan Motor Co and Renault SA, the automakers that revamped their global alliance last week, on Monday said they would invest Rs 5,300 crore in India to launch six models, including two electric vehicles (EV). The two companies said that each would make three new models on joint platforms while retaining the individual, distinctive styling of the respective brands. “They will include four new C-segment SUVs. Two new A-segment electric vehicles will be the first EVs for both Renault and Nissan in India, building on the heritage and expertise of both brands in mass-market electrification, which began with the Nissan LEAF and Renault Zoe more than a decade ago,” they said in a statement.

Zee Entertainment Q3 Earnings: PAT falls 91% YoY, struggles in revenue growth: The company's operating revenue reached ?2111.20 Cr in the quarter ended December 2022 compared to ?2112.60 Cr in the year-ago quarter, representing a fall of -0.1%.The EBITDA falls to ?338 Cr in Q3FY23 compared to ?479.30 Cr in Q3FY22, representing a fall of 29.5% YoY. Whereas the EBITDA margin falls to 16.0% in Q3FY23 compared to 22.7% in Q3FY22. Zee Entertainment said its fall in EBITDA was impacted by slower growth in revenue and elevated investment in content, marketing and technology.
