Zydus Lifesciences gets 3 observations from USFDA for Vadodara plant
Zydus Lifesciences on Thursday said the US health regulator has issued three observations after inspecting its Jarod (Vadodara) based manufacturing facility. The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) inspected the injectable facility from February 24 to March 10, 2022. The inspection closed with three observations,the drug firm said in a regulatory filing.
Exide to set up Lithium-ion cell plant, signs agreement with China's SVOLT
Exide Industries – one of India’s leading battery manufacturers catering to the automobile and industrial segments – has entered into a long-term technical collaboration agreement with China's SVOLT Energy Technology Co Ltd for lithium-ion cell manufacturing, it said on Thursday
Under the the multi-year agreement, SVOLT will grant Exide an irrevocable right and licence to use, exploit and commercialise necessary technology and know-howowned by them for lithium-ion cell manufacturing in India.
SBI to revamp banking app YONO, position it as complete digital bank
Country’s largest lender State Bank of India will revamp its banking application “YONO” and position it as a complete digital bank under new rubric “ONLY YONO” for enhancing customer experience and ease of use.
It plans to rope in a consultant to help to draw the project plan keeping in mind business goals for the next five years. With 54 million monthly active users (MAUs), SBI YONO has seen a growth of over 35 per cent in MAUs in 2021.

Future stores In a fresh twist in the fight to gain supremacy in the Indian retail market, billionaire Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Retail has slapped notices on Future Retailfor terminating sub-leases of 950 storesit had taken over previously.
In stock exchange filings, the Kishore Biyani-led debt-laded Future Group firms said they have been served notices to terminate the lease of 835 Future Retailstores and 112 Future Lifestyle stores.
NMDC conducts e-auction of 8,337 carats rough diamonds from Panna mines
State-owned NMDC on Thursday said it has conducted an e-auction of 8,337 carats rough diamonds produced at its Panna diamond mines in Madhya Pradesh.
In a statement, the state-owned miner said the e-auction process received an overwhelming response from Diamond merchants of Surat, Mumbai and Panna.
Indian exporters on Amazon Global Selling platform cross 100,000 mark
Amazon India said that over 100,000 Indian exporters are now selling globally through its ecommerce exports program – Global Selling. The number of sellers has grown nearly 30 per cent year-over-year since January 2020. A large number of sellers on the program come from non-metros and many of these businesses are first generation entrepreneurs and emerging brands. “The Amazon Global Selling program has enabled more than one lakh Indian exporters to cross $3billion in cumulative exports, which showcases the demand for Indian-made products across the globe,” said Abhijit Kamra, Director, Global Trade Amazon India.
