Kamat Hotels jumps on raising Rs 297.50 crore through NCDs

Kamat Hotels (India) is currently trading at Rs. 127.55, up by 1.50 points or 1.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 126.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 127.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 128.00 and Rs. 125.25 respectively. So far 4829 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 137.70 on 23-Jan-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 46.25 on 14-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 137.70 and Rs. 122.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 299.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.04% and 39.06% respectively.

Kamat Hotels (India) has raised Rs 297.50 crore through the allotment of 29,750 Non-convertible debentures (NCD) having face value of Rs 1 lakh each, to Ncube Ventures LLP, SBI Funds Management, Purple Clover Tree LLP and SBI FM Special Situation Fund I. The Debenture allotted by the company to the aforementioned investors shall be listed on the Stock Exchanges. The committee at its meeting held on January 25, 2023 has approved the allotment of the same.

The company is engaged in the hospitality business and is having Hotel, Resort & Restaurants.
