KNR Constructions soars as its arm gets bonus claim of Rs 8.13 crore

KNR Constructions is currently trading at Rs. 251.70, up by 9.95 points or 4.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 241.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 246.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 251.70 and Rs. 241.10 respectively. So far 17900 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 329.80 on 01-Feb-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 207.80 on 21-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 255.45 and Rs. 237.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6921.18 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.01% and 9.36% respectively.

KNR Constructions’ subsidiary -- KNR Tirumala Infra has received bonus claim of around Rs 8.13 crore inclusive of taxes for early completion of project by 52 days. The bonus claim has been approved by the competent authority i.e, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The bonus amount will be accounted in books of accounts during the quarter ended September 30, 2022.
